Over the past few days, we’ve been introducing you to the riders taking on the 2026 Tour of Southland. Now we’re also turning the spotlight on the people behind the team, from our sponsors to the support crew who help make it all happen.

We’re excited to be on board as the vehicle sponsor of the iHire Invercargill Open, taking place at The Langlands Invercargill Golf Club from 17–19 December.

Creation Signs have done an awesome job wrapping our Ford Ranger Wildtrak in event branding, helping get the word out around town in the lead-up to the tournament.

We’re looking forward to getting behind the Open and seeing another great event on the Invercargill calendar come to life. Keep an eye out for the Ranger around town over the next couple of months! 🏌️‍♂️

The South Island GT Falcon Show first started here at Macaulay Ford 11 years ago, so it’s pretty special to be hosting it back in Invercargill for its 11th year.

And what a line-up it’s shaping up to be! With 88 GTs registered for display, this is set to be the biggest collection yet. There’ll be plenty for Ford fans and car enthusiasts to check out, including at least one example of every GT model Ford has produced.

The cars will be put to the test by a panel of well-known judges, but there’s one award where you get a say. The Macaulay Ford People’s Choice Award is decided by you, so come along, check out the line-up and pick your favourite. 👀

With just a week to go until the GT Falcon Show, here’s another beauty you’ll want to check out next Saturday!

This 2007 Ford Falcon BF Mk II GT-P is a rare gem, with just 254 built in total, including 24 for the NZ market and only 10 of those finished in Silhouette.

While it looks black at first glance, get up close and you’ll spot a unique blue metallic effect that really needs to be seen in person.

Under the bonnet sits a 5.4-litre Boss 290 V8, delivering 290kW of power and 521Nm of torque. A proper performance flagship, and one you won’t want to miss!

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE: GT FALCON SHOW ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED 📢

The response to next weekend’s Annual GT Falcon Show has been fantastic, with 87 GT Falcons set to be on display at Macaulay Motors! The show has now reached capacity, so the Club is unable to accept any further entries, including entries on the day.

If you’ve missed out on entering, there’s still plenty to look forward to! Come along, check out the incredible line-up of GT Falcons and help the Club raise funds for Ronald McDonald House.

Labour weekend is nearly here! If you’re thinking about your next vehicle, our Sales team will be here on Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm.

JC only had to look over the fence for inspiration for his next family vehicle! After seeing his neighbour’s Everest Trend, which Alfred sold a while back, he decided it was time to get behind the wheel of an Everest himself.

He came in to see Alfred and ended up driving away in this brand-new Ford Everest Sport, finished in the stunning Blue Lightning!

Teretonga turned it on for the final round of the South Island Endurance Series over the weekend! 🏁

As proud sponsors of the Southland Sports Car Club and driver Jordan Michels, it was awesome to see our local motorsport community in action.

A huge congratulations to Jordan, who took out a race win and the overall win, claiming his third straight South Island Endurance Series title and making history as the first driver to win the championship three times!

What an achievement, Jordan. Stoked to be backing you! 🏆
