Welcome to the new sponsors that have come on board to help us where they can, any help makes it that much easier!

First of all, Noonan contracting ltd these guys are great, not only have they helped with the car, but stuff around the house as well! If you've got any excavation work in need, don't hesitate to get in touch!

Next up Transport & Diesel Services . Another great team who has come on board to help us make it to the events. Specializing in heavy diesel mechanical they're the team you need if your truck, trailer or bus is giving you issues.

Last but not least, Precision Signs & Wraps Zane has gone out of his way to make sure the car can look as good as possible for us and we appreciate it.

Also would like to thank all current sponsors that help out in any way as it all adds up.
Next up we have Drift Riot which is this Friday/Saturday in Taupo so if you're in the area come for a watch!

✨ A new bit of bling for the front counter! ✨

A pretty special milestone for us at Hobbs Davy .. we’ve officially been part of the Battery Town team for 25 YEARS! 🔋🎉

It’s an awesome achievement and we’re proud to have been part of the Battery Town crew for the past 25 years. 🖤💛

Here’s to many more years of batteries, banter and keeping you all powered up! 🔋⚡

Thanks for having us, Battery Town! We look forward to continuing to be part of the team for many years to come! 🥳

HOW is it October already?! 😳

Somehow we’ve blinked and skipped straight into the last few months of the year… and apparently forgot to tell Facebook about it. 🫣😂

We’ve been a bit slack on the socials, but before you think we’ve all packed up and drifting… the boys have actually been flat out in the workshop! 🔧🚗🔋

They’ve been keeping themselves busy, keeping the jobs rolling in and, most importantly, keeping themselves out of trouble… well, most of the time. 😉😂

Need a battery? Lights? Service? Auto electrical work? Or something in your vehicle making a noise that definitely wasn’t there yesterday? 👀

Pop in and see the boys or give us a call .. we’ll see what we can do!

And we promise… we’ll try to remember we have a page a little more often! 😂🫣

A big welcome to Jasmine, who has joined the Hobbs Davy crew on Thursdays for her Gateway placement! 👏

She'll get a hands-on look at what it's like to be an auto electrician, learning about the trade and everything our team does behind the scenes.

We're excited to have you on board, Jasmine, and can't wait to see what you learn. Welcome to the team! ⚡🔧

After a lot of late nights, weekends in the shed, and maybe a few extra grey hairs, Connar finally got the chance to put the new motor and gearbox in the drift car to the test at Manfeild over the weekend! 🏁

After only a couple of runs, there was a small issue, but with a quick trip to palmy for some parts, the boys got everything sorted and had the car back out on the track in no time.

Connar drove amazing and came away with an awesome 4th place out of 40 drivers! 👏🔥

It definitely made all the hard work, late nights, and long hours worthwhile.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped along the way and to everyone who came along and supported him over the weekend. We really appreciate you all.

Bring on the next event! 🏎️

🎉 Yay for Friday!

It's been another busy week for the boys, but getting out and about and taking in views like these makes it all worth it. ☀️🚛

Just a reminder that next week is a short week, so if you're heading away and need a battery, lights, or a service before you go, get in touch with the team. We'll be happy to get you sorted before your trip!

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone! 😊

👑 The team is off for the long weekend!

We’ll be closed Monday 1st June for King’s Birthday Weekend, but back into it Tuesday and ready to go again.

Here’s hoping there are no battery issues, mystery warning lights or electrical gremlins deciding to cause chaos over the weekend 🤞⚡

The boys will be well rested and ready to get stuck back into it Tuesday!
