(delayed sorry)
Free display pages for vehicle owners to share their car's story at car meets, shows and cruises. We're a husband and wife team who just enjoy coming to the monthly Ahuriri Cruise In, in our 67 Impala. We haven't been coming along very long, but we wanted to know a bit more about the cars that we were looking at. Generally at car shows, all the car owners are walking around catching up and checking out others' cars - as you do - so we've devised this way to share your car's story when you're not around. We're new to this, interested to learn, and interested in you being able to share your car's story as widely as you'd like.

~ FEATURE FRIDAY KΔ€ HARI TE RΔ€MERE ~
πŸ’š2004 Holden Calais with ShowCarQR πŸ’š

πŸš˜πŸ™‹πŸ½ Owner: Sam McKnight aka Sammo's LS
πŸ“ Next event: "It's not weak to speak" charity hardpark 2, Marine Parade, Napier
~~~
Every Friday, we like to feature one of our user's cars, someone that has signed up to ShowCarQR - our FREE service - and created a display page for their vehicle. These are carefully selected πŸ˜‰. This week we've chosen Sammo's Calais LS.
Instead of completely focussing on the feature car this week, we want to feature Sam and his charity hardpark this Sunday that he's pulling off for the 2nd year in a row - "It's not weak to speak".
Mental health awareness is something we're all responsible for, just like ones physical health. Everyone goes through stuff, and what helps, is talking. Opening up to someone, or being available as a listening ear for someone. It can be as simple as asking, "Are you ok?" That sometimes, can make all the difference.
Sam's event is a fundraiser for the registered charity, "I am Hope." - "It's Not Weak to Speak." Charity hardpark 2. On this Sunday (11th Oct) 10am-1pm, Napier foreshore.
πŸ₯° Appreciation post for Mainlanders πŸ₯°
Thank you Heather Kinzett, organiser of the Murchison Classic Vehicles annual Murchison Motorbike and Classic Car Show, for having Pete and I ☺️
It was an awesome community event with 170+ cars, incredible as it's just in it's second year! Well done to Heather and the team, what an awesome feat you pulled off, and with $3 venison steak sammies, how could you not just jump in?!
Second event we attended this weekend was Cars and Coffee Greymouth, with Stella ushering us to our reserved spot, thank you! An impressive 80'odd cars at this monthly event (first Sunday of every month), it was neat to see how the coast rolls. I was super excited to see the coffee cart - Greymouth - did whitebait fritters!! 🀩
With four ShowCarQR'ers that also attended Murchison and a few sign ups overnight, it was a very fruitful event-filled weekend. Lovely conversations, great meeting people in-person and putting faces to names, and of course, listening to the stories.
Thank you Mainlanders for having us. It's been a treat. We'll look to come down again next year πŸ˜„
Greymouth Rodders you've got a good scene here.
✨Design your own QR code!
We’ve just launched our new QR Code Designer, giving you an easy way to create a custom QR code for your vehicle.
Choose your background, add a photo, change the fonts and colours, and create something that suits your car. Your QR code links straight to your ShowCarQR vehicle page, so people at shows and events can scan it and discover your car’s story, photos, specs and more.
Once you’re happy with your design, you can:
πŸ–¨οΈ Download it and print it yourself β€” FREE
or
πŸš— Order it as a professionally printed static window cling, ready to display inside your vehicle window.
The designer is free to use, just like your ShowCarQR vehicle page. The window cling is simply a new optional extra for anyone who wants a professionally finished display.
Give the new designer a try and let us know what you think.
πŸ’™ 1969 Plymouth Satellite with ShowCarQR πŸ’™
πŸš˜πŸ™‹πŸ½ Owner: Gary Jenkins
~~~
Every Friday, we like to feature one of our user's cars, someone that has signed up to ShowCarQR - our FREE service - and created a display page for their vehicle. These are carefully selected πŸ˜‰ This week we've chosen Gary's 1969 Plymouth Satellite.

Born as a 318 at Lynch Road Assembly in Detroit Michigan, this Mopar graced the NZ shores the beginning of 2018. Gary says, "then was pretty much an 80% new panel rebuild," including a move to a 440ci. During the process, Gary even found the original factory build sheet under the rear seat!

Gary includes a whole bunch of folks in the 'special thanks' section of his profile, and we're gonna attempt to tag them over the next few days for ya.

Got your copy of NZV8 235 yet? If you shared a photo of your ride with us, then it could be in print!

Spoiler alert: Pete Gilbert's 1967 Chevrolet Impala makes an appearance πŸ‘€

The big Impala is a genuine NZ-new four-door, running a 350ci backed by a TH400. Bought a couple of years ago in Timaru, the car has since swapped islands and is now a proud Hawke's Bay resident, with Pete flying the flag as a member of Roaming Chrome HB.
