Dear Friends and Customers
And now for some good news. You will be aware our neighbour in Anglesea St was Collins Auto Electrical. Jason Land, the owner of Collins, became a friend and business confidante during the several years we “co-operated” our business enterprises. The properties in Anglesea St are unable to be tenanted due to structural integrity issues; with true Kiwi attitude, Jason has accepted the challenge and has relocated to larger refurbished premises, purchased an auto repair business and incorporated it into his own and invited myself and Logan Morris, my long serving head mechanic, to join him in what I believe will be the most quintessential business of its type in the Waikato (possibly N.Z.)
From a personal perspective, most of you will be aware of my life-long dedication to customer service through honesty and integrity. Logan, my most trusted employee and friend, was always steadfast in in his appreciation and practice of this ethic. I believe Jason values these ideals and as such will provide a service comparable to that to which you have become accustomed.
The new business will be operating from our newly refurbished premise at 2 Quentin Drive, off Kahikatea Drive (opposite Gallaghers) from 20-03-2017. I have enclosed a flyer which provides a brief overview and a statement which I believe brilliantly sums up our intent… ”Any Brand, Anything Automotive”. All equipment required to complete any servicing task will be our own and on site, not out-sourced as is often the case these days due to technological advances in automotive engineering, the diagnosing and repairing of which is now beyond the average workshop.
The most highly technical aspect of the business…TYRES!!! will be overseen by myself and, as ever, my endeavour is the best option for your vehicle with your individual circumstances being paramount.
Several years ago it became obvious to me the family involvement in A.H.Franks Tyres was unable to continue and whilst the tragedy of the fire hastened the changes, they had been inevitable for some time. I truly believe the spirit of three generations of A.H.Franks Tyres will be continued under the stewardship of Jason.
Jason and I encourage you to leap into the future with us and experience our modern take on the ethos created by Hec Franks in 1921.
Your sincerely,
Jim Nolen
