I met up with a great group of gentleman this morning. After putting a post up 3 months ago, these guys have been gathering every Wednesday from 9.30am for a couple of hours in Pirongia, bringing along projects to do. They start the morning with a cuppa and a catch up yarn. They all mentioned that it is the conversation and the building up of local friendships that is the most important focus. If anyone is interested in joining these gentleman and because these guys don't like their mobile phones- I said I'm happy to field questions and pass details on to the guys. Colette 021 391 979.

💡 Quick reminder, folks... your headlights aren't much use if they aren't working!

With the shorter days and darker mornings, now's a good time to do a quick walk-around and make sure all your headlights, tail lights, brake lights and indicators are doing what they're supposed to.

It only takes a minute to check, but it could save you a ticket, a breakdown of communication with other drivers... or something much worse.

A day in life of a pick up parts gal (today) at Pirongia Action Automotive:

Face the fog.
Pick up 2/hand part from Hams to save the client $300.
Go to Leaks Engineering- Tatua- to pick up pendulum cowshed gates.
Head back to Pirongia via Te A to pick up more parts.
Pick up Grant's lunch.
Drop ute load of parts off to workshop.
Deliver gates and lunch to cowshed.
Head back to workshop.
