What a busy week its been this week for the team at Midnight Mechanical Services.

We had the pleasure of doing some upgrades on this holden Commodore vf

Customer wanted it to be lower and sound abit nicer so we put some brandnew d2 adjustable suspension with wheel alignment to be arranged by customer a intake system and modified the exhaust system by putting in 2 high flow mufflers in the rear and 2 cobey resonators aswell plus a elite drive throttle controller.

What a day it was at the Car and Motorcycle show in paeroa got alot of interest and god damn she looks good thanks to the team at Slick&Shine Detailing Hamilton for the amazing prep work its come out stunning cant be anymore happy for all of yous that need your car detailed i highly recommend these guys affordable and down to earth and trust worthy definitely does a amazing job for the price you pay

⚙️ manual conversion success.. Legacy outback ez30r and SGT - both manual conversion setup. Stock auto ECU remapped to run manual transmission with no errors and have proper fueling etc ..

🛠️ manual conversion setup are fairly straightforward with a transmission conversion kit. The auto ECU needs to be set correctly as it’s part of the CAN system so some signals need to be shared with other systems. Our mates at Midnight mechanical helping out with the manual conversion…

Can anyone say Track car!!

Super cool R33 dedicated track car in the other day. Few minor touch ups and a good service. As the engine has not long been rebuilt, run in and dyno'd, it was time to retorque the cylinder head now that it's had a few heat cycles, a commonly missed step with built motors that just solidifies the longevity of the engine.

Customer also wanted some suspension adjustments to his specs so we trailered it down to our friends, the experts, at Frankton Tyre & Alignment Ltd - Goodyear Autocare Frankton to ensure this absolute weapon gets the treatment it deserves!

We love getting interesting jobs like this in! Keeps things interesting, and we enjoy collaborating with other businesses to get the desired result!
