Illawarra contracting has been a trusted name in the Waikato for over 30 years, and now brothers Nathan and Daniel Phillips are leading it into an exciting new chapter. Nathan manages the contracting side, while Daniel runs Illawarra Haulage, working hand-in-hand to keep both businesses strong and connected.

From humble beginnings baling hay for neighbours, Illawarra now produces up to 10,000 bales a year. With deep farming roots and a commitment to quality, the Phillips brothers are proud to carry on their fifth-generation family legacy.

New and old Deutz have been put to work bailing. Nathan with his new Deutz 7250TTV Warrior and Peter with his Deutz M 615, both making the hills look like light work!

It’s been a busy start to the season! But with thanks to Power Farming Morrinsville, the guys were able to bag a new tractor to make the late nights more comfortable! A new Deutz 7250TTV Warrior Edition joined the fleet and already has been put to work. With Daniel helping cart bales with his new truck too. Here’s some photos of what the boys have been up to so far.
