Dunedin Otago Champs 27/3

Made the long haul down to Beachlands last Friday for the Otago modified champs. Massive thanks to Braith and Dunedin Speedway team for organising a couple days racing for mods at a new track.

We only got two races in before the rain settled and ended the nights proceedings:

Heat 1: 7-7 after being relegated two spots we finished where we started.

Heat 2: 4-1 the rain started as we went green which was good fun to race on trying to keep it on the dry line.

The rain was too much for the track to dry out so our weekend ended here with other commitments meaning we didn’t race night 2. Guttered as we really liked the track and the racing was good. Hats off to Beachlands prep crew as it was prepared awesome having 2 lines to race.
