So, had a mate/customer put in an insurance claim on their car. Thankfully, he knew all too well that it's his right to have his car repaired where he wants. But he was quite taken back by the claims consultant and how much he was trying to get him to take his car, to the actual insurers own panel shop. He said the email was just a snippet of it. Was outright told it would be 15 days before our assessment was done, but if he went with their repair facility, it would only take 3 days.
This is the sort of lines we have to hear all too often now from our customers, well the ones that still make it to us before these claims consultants try brain washing them that is.
Remember, you can have your car repaired at any reputable repairer you want, end of story.
