Great news regarding the remedial work done on the track after the last Trials.

Thanks to NZTR for your assistance in getting us back on track!

"We have received the full Ground Penetrating Report (GPR) from Downer who took us through the results page by page and explained what the findings were.

It was pleasing that there were no signs of any other rabbit holes/burrows that ultimately led to the abandonment of the previous trials.

I’m happy that we have done our due diligence to give the industry confidence to return to the venue for the trials on Tuesday. We have evidence that what caused the previous abandonment has now been fixed and there are no other rabbit holes or burrows currently under the surface.

Stipendiary Steward, Neil Goodwin visited the track on Saturday morning to assess it and organised with the Club to gallop a few horses. 6 horses galloped and he has passed the track."
