There's really good evidence coming out of Australia about the effectiveness of using recycled rubber to improve local roads. Using rubber enhances durability and resilience of roads, which means fewer potholes!
This is the kind of progress Tyrewise would love to see in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We are looking to hire an experienced tyre technician or someone enthusiastic to learn the role to join our customer focused friendly team working in our busy Feilding workshop.
As a tyre technician, you will be required to inspect and assess damaged or worn tyres on a range of customer vehicles, replace or repair damaged tyres, and balance or rotate tyres as well as provide fleet, on farm and roadside assistance as required.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
* Strong communication skills
* Be able to perform physically demanding tasks
* A reliable, professional work ethic
* Ability to finish work to the highest standard
* Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Have customer service experience
* Applicants must hold a current New Zealand driver's licence
