This wasn't at our shop but it shows exactly why we don't allow customers to drive into the workshop. What might seem a simple task can easily and very quickly go horribly wrong.

On today's edition of JUST ROLLED IN.
This tyre is dangerousy worn and is bulging. It's only a matter of time before it causes a dangerous blow out 🚑 🏥
In the interest of safety for the owner and their family we changed the tyre and suggested they get to a tyre shop for a new one and a wheel alignment at the same time.

We've had a couple of crackers recently.
Toyotas sometimes have a cartridge style oil filter and if the wrong tool is used damage can be done. We make sure to use the right tools, apparently the workshop before didnt and broke off numerous teeth/lugs. Luckily the replacement OEM part is only about $40.

The hits keep coming 🎉🥳.
Some bush mechanic has worked on this car and more than likely stripped the thread on the b**g, or worse, the pan itself and then covered it with silicon/epoxy. We won't touch this and recommend getting a mechanical shop to fix it.

Another shocker of a discovery on a car recently 😬

This came in today 🤔😬.
The rear lower shock bushes are knackered, the right rear shock is leaking and both control arm bushes (at the least) are knackered.
This vehicle is a danger to the owner as well as other road users and really shouldn't be on the road in our opinion.
This is a perfect example where just because your car has a WOF does not mean it's safe.

Get in quick before Xmas 🚙 🎄 🎁. We’ll be open Monday to Friday this week at our normal hours of 8-5:30 and as normal just pull in and we’ll get your car taken care of while you wait.
We’re going to be closed Saturday the 24’th December and will be back the following week and open on Weds 28’th, Thurs 29’th & Fri 30’th. We will be closed for Saturday 31’st December and will reopen the following week on Wednesday 4’th January and be back to our normal hours.
