Introducing the faces, behind Travelbox Trailers.

We are Dave and Gemma, husband and wife team. We met in Auckland but have been living in Dunedin for nearly ten years. We have always been big fans of the outdoors and enjoy camping and exploring all that the great Kiwi backyard has to offer.

Travelbox Trailers is Dave's brain child. He loves the outdoors and off-roading and noticed a gap in the market when it came to proper off-road trailers, such as those available in Australia and the States. Yes, there are similar products being imported to New Zealand, but we haven't seen anything that we feel:

✅️ is set up for New Zealand's unique climate;

✅️ is capable of handling the New Zealand terrain;

✅️ designed with the Kiwi lifestyle in mind;

✅️ offers robust durability.

Dave has meticulously designed our trailers, with particular attention to detail, and builds them himself while also utilizing local fabricators for some parts. The end result is a trailer that is practical and built to last.

We are really proud to be a Kiwi company, and incredibly proud of the trailer. Supporting local businesses is important to us, and if we're not able to source a part locally, then we endeavour to find it within New Zealand.
We hope you enjoy following our journey as we venture forwards with our business.

Throughout the design process, it was our goal to create a trailer which is practical and easy to use. Our trailer consists of big open drawers to accommodate your tents, sleeping bags and camping gear. Alternatively you may wish to add compartments in order to organise your stuff, or - for the Tradies out there - your tools.

Features:

✅Two lockable doors, with slide-out drawers;

✅Drawers are designed with a ‘lock in/lock out’ feature which keeps them stable both when you’re on the move, as well as when they’re pulled out for use;

✅The drawers have numerous points for attaching bungee cords, in order to keep your gear secure;

✅Catches which enable you to secure the doors to the drawer whilst open. This is to prevent the doors from flapping around on those windy days;

✅Roof rack, to allow you to carry bikes, kayaks, surfboards and so on;

✅Ability to attach a roof-top tent.

Rear drawer is 99cm long, 92cm wide, and can accommodate a height of 56cm.

Side drawer is 95cm long, 41cm wide and can accommodate a height of 52cm.
