Veteran driver Graham Ball is set to return to the 2 Litre Class this season.

A five-time 2 Litre Champion and the current NEXEN Tyre E46 Champion, Graham’s record speaks for itself. He also holds lap records for the 2 Litre Class at Hampton Downs (International Circuit), Pukekohe (both layouts), and Manfeild. Wherever he lines up, you can be sure he’ll be right at the business end of the field.

Graham first joined the Series back in 2010 in the old control E30 Class, and here we are 15 years later with him still going strong.

When he’s not at the track, Graham can usually be found at G & A Auto, the business he & wife Aldy runs - and fittingly, one of his racing sponsors.

When he’s not under the hood at G&A Automotive, you’ll find our owner and mechanic, Graham, tearing up the track!

We’re proud to share that he recently took out the top spot in the BMW Race Driver Series – Nexen Tyre E46 class.

A huge congratulations, Graham! Your passion for performance shines both in the workshop and on the track. 🏎️💨🥇👏🏻

Graham Ball takes the top step this season, though it certainly wasn’t without a fight. Last year’s podium duo of Sebastian Noble and Ayden Lamont swapped places this time around, finishing second and third respectively - keeping the pressure on all season.

It was a turbulent season at times, but one that delivered plenty of competition and close results. Consistency played a huge part, with a strong field of drivers showing up round after round and keeping things unpredictable.

Graham also picks up Rookie of the Year — a technicality that might surprise some, given his experience, but hey, new to the class means rookie by our rulebook.

A huge thanks to our class sponsor NEXEN Tyres NZ, whose support helps keep this competitive and well-subscribed field going strong.

Congrats to Graham, and to the full E46 field — a solid season with plenty to look forward to next year.
