Kosmo’s EVO 1 - “MRTP”
This is a project the team at Hitech are really proud to be a part of. Kosmo has been building this immaculate Mitsubishi EVO for a couple of years, a project started by his late brother, tragically taken too young…
Powered by a Hitech Motorsport built 2.0 litre 4G63, it’s one of our proven engine packages, with a some serious internals including a Manley steel crank, Manley Turbotuff rods, CP forged pistons, ARP fasteners, topped with a seriously modified ported head by Harris Performance featuring Kelford cams, and super tech valve train.
We added a custom Sinco exhaust manifold, Garret GTX Gen 2 3076r turbo, Turbosmart wastegate, full custom Hitech exhaust, 3.5”
Front pipe, 3” exhaust with Adrenalin r mufflers. Aftermarket fabricated inlet manifold, billet throttle body and full custom fabricated intercooler piping and cold air intake. Fuel system is pretty serous with three pumps, speedflow Teflon hoses and fittings, aeromotive regulator, etc
Controlled by a Link G4X ecu with a full compliment of sensors, tuned for flex fuel on our Dynapack dyno, it packs a serious punch 397kw at 28 psi on pump gas and a massive 467 kW at 33 psi on E85 - who says only milk and juice comes in 2 litres!
To match the go, the car has a MRP wilwood front brake kit, MCA red coil overs, full set of upgraded suspension bushes, sway bars, rebuilt gearbox, transfer and rear diff. All lubricated by the best oil in the world - Motul
