We've been a bit quiet on social media lately, mainly from being too damn busy!

We are proud to be working alongside Torque Performance Developments with some wiring projects and tuning various cars. It's been awesome working alongside such a friendly team of great performance technicians.

Tuned a few D1NZ cars and a few unique Honda's for them now, and we are loving the diversity.

If you have anything Honda with 4 wheels, they're the people to see.

We see it too often. Even "reputable" brands "how to install" videos are wrong, your shock length needs to be fairly close to OEM length regardless of ride height.

NZs cleanest N14?

This immaculate GTIR (replica) came in to have the stock injectors upgraded to be able to unlock the power potential of the previously fitted Maxx Street ECU and PSR2860.

We fitted some 1000cc Xpurt injectors into the stock rail, deleted the injector resistor pack and hit the dyno!

254kW at 19psi at all 4 hubs!
She rips now!

An R32 that tried to get violent with me...

A couple years ago we tuned this on a mainline rolling dyno and had the front driveshaft universal fail at around 200kmh on the rollers.
The car shook the entire building as it slowed, as I sat there helpless waiting for the driveshaft to rip through the floor and attack me.

Luckily the driveshaft remained in tact enough to not come through the floor. The people in the other end of the building came to see what the cause of the minor earthquake was.

So a while later, we get it back to fix it up and get it back on the dyno with a new driveshaft.
The oem coil packs quickly gave up.
A KDM VAG coil conversion kit had it back on the dyno pumping out an impressive:

A staunch little SR20DET powered MK2 Es**rt we had the pleasure of finishing off recently.
We carried out the following:

-Supplied PSR3067 gen2 .63 T3.
-Supplied Turbosmart 45mm wastegate.
-Fabricated custom exhaust manifold to suit.
-Top mount fuel rail conversion kit installed with turbosmart FPR6.
-Intake manifold swap back to oem from the horrid "Freddy" intake.
-Custom 1 piece intercooler piping to suit.
-Install Maxxecu Street ECU on to stock wiring loom.
-Various heat shielding to help the vital components around all that heat.
-Tuned by us

Result: 248kW at 15psi ramping to 19psi

Little intercooler held it back pretty severely, but still more than enough power for a sub 900kg car.

An EVO 2 RS we had the pleasure of going on a bit of a journey with!

The customer decided to try out some of the newer products on the market to give his already 300kW 2.3L 4g63 some extra go.

He opted for:
Artec manifold
Turbosmart 6466 turbo.
Tial 44mm wastegate
1550cc bosch injectors.
450lph fuel pump and wiring upgrades.

Then we hit the dyno and the results weren't great. The IATs were horrible due to the terrible intercooler core and suspected choke with the Artec.

The customer chose to fix it all and we then installed:
Custom tubular exhaust manifold for artec location.
Custom 600x300x100 intercooler
Flex fuel sensor
Oil pressure and temp sensor
Fuel pressure and temp sensor
CAN lambda module
CAN gauge.

He also decided to paint it white!

Then went back to the dyno to put out an impressive 379kW on pump gas and 419kW on e50 until the gearbox let go on the dyno!

We delivered the evo back to Wellington where a local specialist had the gearbox fixed up within a week! Customer is super happy with the response and power of the turbosmart turbo and so are we.
