🚗📰 A little trip back to 1984!

While working on a Holden HQ ute/1-tonner, we uncovered a pretty cool piece of automotive history tucked away inside — an old copy of The Press from July 1984! 😍

And what a time capsule it is…

🏎️ A Porsche 924 was being raffled — first prize valued at a whopping $52,100!
🚗 There’s a full feature on the Holden Camira, proudly showcasing its “innovative engineering”, “silky smooth 5-speed” and “powerful protection”. The Camira 2.0 was advertised at $17,990, with the Camira 1.8 at $17,250.

It’s pretty cool seeing what cars were advertised as the latest and greatest back then — especially when you’re working on a vehicle from the same era. 😍

40+ years later, and this HQ is getting some love in the workshop!

We love finding little pieces of automotive history like this. 🛠️❤️

Darfield Collision Centre is looking for an organised and friendly person to join our team in a full-time Receptionist / Health & Safety role.

This varied position includes:
✅ Customer service and reception duties
✅ Booking vehicles and general administration
✅ Invoicing and processing payments
✅ Maintaining health & safety records and systems

We're looking for someone with great communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Previous administration or health & safety experience is an advantage but not essential.
