Please take care if you are traveling in this area, and to/pass us. Seddon Street is a small street with busy businesses, that is often narrow, with vehicles moving about often ☺️

Just a reminder the Stairs/Rawhiti St round about will be closed for essential repairs and improvements for the next two - three weeks. The improvements are getting done before school returns.

*Experienced Automotive Technician Position*

We are looking for an experienced automotive technician to join our very busy workshop. WOF Inspection Authority would be a great advantage but not essential.

Stewart Autos is a locally owned family business. You will be working along side Stu (business owner) and one other mechanic, as well as office staff. Although a small team, quiet days are a thing of the past here! We are kept extremely busy with WOF checks, servicing and general repairs.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a full New Zealand drivers licence
- Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Has a tidy appearance
- Can work as part of a team as well as individually
- Has quality workmanship
- Has good time management
- Able to communicate well with customers directly
- Gets along well with others and have a laugh
- Has valid legal requirements to work in New Zealand

Hours are negotiable, whether it be part time/full time. Remuneration based on applicants experience, skill etc.
