Here are the top 4 oil leak culprits we fix on Golf GTIs every week:
1️⃣ Oil Pan / Sump Seal: The factory composite or metal oil pan sealant degrades over time (or warps from road debris impacts), causing oil to seep heavily around the bottom of the engine.

Our team successfully performed a full powertrain extraction, dropping the engine and transmission as a single integrated unit. While it looks like a major operation (and it is!), this is often the most efficient way to ensure every seal, bolt, and connector is handled with factory-level care on these high-performance SUVs.

The Procedure: We utilized our specialized lift equipment to safely lower the 3.0L power unit and ZF transmission assembly.

The Goal: The transmission has been separated and sent to our trusted specialists for a comprehensive teardown and repair to address shifting issues.
