From next month new cars will not be required to get their second WoF for four years, while vehicles aged between 4 and 14 years move from annual to two-yearly check.
For older cars from between the years 2000 and 2013 - they remain at annual checks, but for very old cars from before year 2000 these move from six-monthly checks to one year. There are also increases to the amount people are fined for out-of-date WoFs.
