A nice carbon bonnet done for a HQ drag ute, took the original fiberglass bonnet which weighed in at 11.2kg took a mold off that and incorporated the cowl vent panel in to fill in all the gaps on the hood and to create a factory look. The new carbon bonnet come in at 4.8kg, could have potentially gone lighter but we wanted it stiff enough that it was self supporting around the cutout for the blower. 🏁

Haven't been very vocal on here lately but there has been plenty going on in the workshop! A lot of variety, have a look through the photo dump and see the captions for a bit of detail. Weve just finished a full respray on a 1750 Bullet and has come out great so weve thrown a little teaser in there. Ill be doing a full post on that once the boat has been through to the sign writers as we think it is going to look quite the part! Cheers 🍻

Few bits and pieces starting to stack up for the Childsplay, Cell and longitudinal structure is under vac and being prepared to infuse. New deck made, managed to cut the weight in half of the old deck which sat at 26kg, new deck is 13kgs. Couple more frames to do but we're starting to look good for assembly soon πŸπŸ»πŸ‘Œ
