Propper Droppers SPL Format NZ

Propper Droppers SPL Format NZ Propper Droppers is an International SPL Format that's now Official here in NZ. This format is Based on the average score on 5 Frequency's below 40HZ!

Dropper Droppers is a format of testing your Car Audio system to its limits. It started in the Netherlands and has now made its way to the UK, Australia and now New Zealand. there are 8 classes all based on either the amount of subs or sub location. Your position in the SPL leagues is worked out as follows:
Example:
Peak = 152.7dB @ 33Hz
40Hz = 150.4dB
33Hz = 152.7dB
25Hz = 151.6dB
20Hz = 150.7dB

All these scores are added together & then divided by "five" - Five being the number of different scores that have been achieved. By doing this we get the TOTAL AVERAGE score achieved during the SPL testing session. Which in this case would be 151.6dB

Each Competitor has 4 30 Second blocks to do each Frequency test with a 60 Second Recovery Period Between each Test.
