We have some big exciting news to share with you all.

After 10 years of growing a stellar team of panelbeaters and painters and doing a great variety of work. Improving year upon year in spite of the usual challenges and the covid years.
The time has come for us to have a change in pace and for Clint to put aside the spray guns and try something new.

As much as we will miss all our wonderful customers and staff we are pleased to announce that we have sold Absolute Spray Painting to Simon and Darin from Waiuku Automotive. We know we’re leaving our team and customers in very good hands.

The same wonderful team will be on hand to keep your cars on the road with all insurance and repair needs.

Thank you to you all for your loyalty and support over the years.

Nyooooooom!!!

Aaaand AMCC Round 2 is finally done! To be honest at the start of the week I wasn’t sure we’d make it, with issues with finding parts and the bike still being in piece the day before, we managed to crack it and pull it together the night before 😅

I decided to double class this weekend after not being able to attend Saturday test day - boy it was a LOT of work 😴

Qualifying was down an easy 5 seconds from last round - 1:38:5 down to - 1:33.0, with the help of the junior warm up we were able to make a few adjustments to the preload and tyre pressure.

Race 1 was off to a flying start! Hitting my goal for the day right off the bat by placing under 20s at 19th! Lap time Down to a 1:32:0

After a few more adjustments to the forks had me tipping and braking harder into the corners which put me in a consistent 18th place for the rest of the day! Managed to even score a 7th place in juniors in race 4!

I also had the privilege of standing on the womens podium for the day! Coming in at 2nd place 🥰 the ladies were on absolute fire!

Of course, not even a tenth of this would be possible without my other half, my mechanic, my pit crew, my problem solver, my family, and best friend 💜 . I can always count on you for your support, and I can’t wait to do the same for you. I couldn’t ask for a better teammate

One of our sponsored racers making a start on the bikes this weekend gone. We love to see people chasing dreams

I almost have no words for the experience this weekend. Massive butterflies to pure ecstasy, it’s been awesome familiarising myself with some faces, it’s made it a whole lot easier getting used to everything.

Qualifying - off to an average start, first time at on the Hyosung, started with a 1:38:516 qualifying lap which put me 42nd on the grid out of 45. It definitely made things more difficult but who doesn’t love a challenge?

Race 1, 2, 3 &. 4 - First race was off to a decent start, jumping to 26th place out of 33 in the hyo class. Testing the waters and starting to push the limits a bit. The second race was a bit of a setback coming in at 30th, had a bit of a mental block in which I had a quiet music jam session in between this and the next race to help slow things down a bit.

Next up was the Le Mans start in which was a fantastic race! Starting at the back of the pack, I was one of the first off the mark which placed me at 21st! Best result of the day. The final race after a very long and hot day, and a confidence boost from the previous race, I came in at 22nd jumping 11 spots throughout the 5 laps!

Some epic battles and some amazing people. I’d call the whole day a win for me. The improvement is just so addicting.
