THE SOUTH ISLAND IS GETTING READY!

Christchurch Experiences MINTEDVR

It was fantastic to share the experience of VR driver training with driving instructors, teachers and learners in Christchurch. Giving them a first-hand experience of MINTEDVR and a glimpse of how immersive VR learning can make the journey to a licence more seamless, less stressful and build more confidence.

The different modules offering all driving scenarios that feel as close to reality and unlike traditional driving simulators, MINTEDVR is portable VR making the immersive driving experience easier to use and offer learning at scale.

What stood out was the commitment of the teachers and instructors who joined us. Their focus was clear- putting their students’ futures first and exploring how VR can complement the in-car experience, accelerate learning and build confidence with safety always at the heart of it.

A big thank you to Zebedee Driving School and Waipuna Youth Services for their support and for this experience. We are looking forward to being here in The South Island.

“Throughout my 6-year career as a driving instructor, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including young people, Māori and Pasifika communities, job seekers, young parents, migrants, former refugees and others facing barriers to employment and independence.

Working alongside community, youth, employment, training, and social-service organisations has shown me how important accessible, supportive driver training can be.

I’m now excited to bring that experience into my new role as a franchisee. My goal is simple: to provide patient, professional, and supportive driver training that helps people take the next step toward their goals.

As an instructor you have seen multiple emotions of young learners. There is a way to bring all learners at ease at the beginning.
