🚗 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗡𝗭 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦! 🚗

Starting November 1, 2026, major updates are coming to Warrant of Fitness (WoF) inspection rules across New Zealand. Here is everything you need to know about how often your light vehicle will need a WoF! 👇

📅 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴?

🆕𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙑𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨:
Your second WoF won't be needed until 4 years (up from 3 years).

🚘𝙑𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨 4 𝙩𝙤 14 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙊𝙡𝙙:
From Nov 1, 2026: Vehicles registered on or after Nov 1st 2019 move to 2 yearly WoFs.
From Nov 1, 2027: The 2-year cycle expands to vehicles registered on or after Nov 1st 2013

🚙 𝙊𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙑𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨 (14+ 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨):
Vehicles over 14 years old move to annual (12-month) WoFs from Nov 1, 2026 - replacing the previous 6 month requirement for many older cars!
- vehicles 26 years and older were previously at 6monthly checks!

💡 𝙋𝙧𝙤 𝙏𝙞𝙥: Longer gaps between WoFs mean maintaining regular servicing and safety checks between inspections is more important than ever!

Out with the old, in with the fresh! 🌿

Don't forget about the air you are breathing inside your car this spring! Take a look at the side-by-side comparison:

👈 Left: Brand new cabin air filter ready for clean air
👉 Right: Used filter full of trapped dirt, dust, and pollen after a full season of driving

As the weather warms up, a fresh cabin filter keeps dust and allergens out, ensures your A/C runs efficiently, and keeps the air inside nice and clear 🍃

If you think it could be time for a spring check up - pop in or give us a call & we will get this sorted for you!

🎾 Serving up big support! 🎾

We are super proud to back the Helensville Primary Tennis crew as they head off to compete at the 2026 AIMs Games next week! 🚗

Also, a massive shout-out to our local legend Sophie & her team Gear. Uniforms + Promotions who helped get the team looking sharp in their awesome new kit! 👕🔥

To all the Helensville Primary School Tamariki, teachers, and parents making the trip down to the Bay of Plenty: travel safe, give it your absolute best, and most importantly—have a blast! 😎

Smash it out there, team! 🙌

Spring is just around the corner, which means it is officially time to shake off the winter chill & give your vehicle a quick health check - starting with your tyres 🛞

Proper tread depth & correct pressure ensure you stay safe on wet spring roads & help maximise fuel efficiency as you head out on warmer weather roadies 🌞

Did you know, Goodyear partnered with NASA to develop a specialised "spring tyre" designed to roll across the moon 🌙 (not the season - actual load bearing springs 🤩)

While we might not have lunar wheels on our shelves, we do have an excellent range of high performance tyres built for everything from daily commutes to rugged weekend terrains!

Pop in & chat tyres with the team - they will make sure you are Good To Go 😎
