SHOWGROUNDS LEASE RENEWED, BIG BOYS TOYS 2023 POSTPONED

The Auckland Showgrounds, home of Big Boys Toys for 25 years, secured a new five-year lease through to 2028. This is undoubtedly a significant victory for the events industry and a relief for countless organizers and attendees in Auckland. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to New Zealand Exhibition and Events Co (NZEEC) for securing this important lease.

However, this news came to us later than anticipated, leaving insufficient time to adequately prepare and deliver the exceptional event experience that Big Boys Toys is renowned for. Our commitment to ensuring the utmost safety, entertainment, and innovation for all our patrons necessitates thorough planning and meticulous coordination with our valued partners and exhibitors.

As much as we would love to forge ahead and host Big Boys Toys this year, we firmly believe in upholding the quality and standard that our loyal attendees have come to expect over the years. In light of the constrained time frame, it is regrettably unfeasible for us to deliver the world-class event experience that embodies the spirit of Big Boys Toys.

We express our sincere apologies to all our exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, who have been eagerly anticipating this year's event. Your unwavering support and enthusiasm are truly invaluable to us. Rest assured, we remain committed to working tirelessly to ensure that the next edition of Big Boys Toys, when it comes, will be nothing short of spectacular.

Rest assured, our new venue will continue to offer an elevated action packed experience, with the Action Arena placed overlooking the beautiful Waitemata Harbour.
