Called out to a customer last week with a Suzuki carry ute lacking power intermittently. Upon check over no warning lights on dash, no provision to check fuel rail pressure via the autel & no codes. After carrying out a fuel pressure test, it resulted in 30psi down to 8psi intermittently.

Unfortunate outcome for my customer today: I dropped the fuel tank to replace the pump, and I found a botched up fuel pump assembly and fuel tank full of rust!!!

Sump replacement on a 3.2l ranger engine. The vehicle was presented with damaged sump plug threads and a patch repair. Fairly time-consuming job with all front suspension dismantle, electric steering rack, & front differential removed from vehicle to access & remove sump!
