Project Rosso NZ Bespoke independent DUCATI service in Auckland

The rider behind Project Rosso is Stefan Dutschmann, a qualified Motorcycle Technician with Ducati experience of 13 years. Starting as a apprentice in a Ducati dealership in Germany he came to NZ to continue working with the brand, only to arrive at a time when Haldane’s was in liquidation. He since has earned the trust of many NZ Ducatisti and other brands riders through his employments at:

- a BMW/Kawasaki dealership in Kingsland, Auckland (2yrs)
- the official Ducati dealership in Wairau Valley, Auckland (7yrs)
- an independent Motorcycle Repairer and Tuner on Wairau Road, Auckland (2 yrs)

Stefan’s objective has always been customer satisfaction at the forefront of his mind coupled with the strive to deliver good workmanship and a ‚no cutting corners‘ work ethic.

Today I want to thank Adam from Lovecars for his support in Project Rosso‘s early days.

As some of you might know I am very fastidious about any products and parts used on customer bikes.

Products not working end up in the ‚never to be used again‘ bin after a few attempts.

The Autostolz range has earned their keep as my daily tool to present bikes well upon collection.

Outstanding of those products are:

- Enhanced Spray Wax (use insect remover beforehand as it will not yield good results on removing protein)

- Quick Detailer & Clay Lubricant (good on matte surfaces and is streak-free)

- One Step Polish & Compound (fantastic on removing small scratches without dulling the surrounding area)

Don‘t forget to use all those products with a high thread count microfiber towel - products in bulk packs from the hardware store are often not up to the task.

Judging by the looks of it this disc pack might be able to distribute the forces from the clutch basket better and not causing the typical grooves in it. A lot thicker surface area on the friction plates. Time will tell.
