Same old story once again

K24 Turbo

Replace a poorly designed manifold with a non existent merge collector that looks like it was designed by a monkey and the results speak for themselves.

28kw gain on the same boost pressure
65kw gain retuned to suit the tubular manifold
4psi lower exhaust port pressure.

The tubular manifold is better in every aspect of performance. Stop wasting your money on these poorly designed pieces of scrap metal.

Forced Induction Interchillers How many customers you lying to today?

Seeing they have reviews turned off on all platforms we are going to make a public post here outlining their p**s poor customer service & outright bu****it in the hopes it will deter some others from wasting time and money with them.

18 July 25, we ordered a LSA Lid spacer with water m**h injection + thermal blanket from their website. Got an email to say they had a wait on the nozzles and will ship in a couple of weeks. No problem.

12 August 25 - Package arrives. Missing the thermal blanket. We email them to let them know the blanket is missing. We get an immediate reply saying sorry we forgot the blanket and we will refund you, to which we reply we dont need the refund, we need the blanket we ordered, Their response being "You only want to use the blanket when running the blower spacers in combination.
So likely just saved yourself some money as its not often ordered with the lid spacer" - completely irrelevant, we had ordered the blanket & this is what customer required. So now we are expected to order the blanket again, Pay over $130 in shipping again, + import taxes all over again. They then proceeded to make out like they had done us some sort of favour "For your benefit and to our risk, we underdeclared the value for you.
Whilst NZ customs are notorious for customs duties we do what we can to save you money in that regard" - we never requested this & as it turns out was a complete lie - the declared value was exactly what the parts cost & as such we paid the full balance of custom fees & taxes.

Clearly they had no intention of sending out the blanket we originally ordered & chose the easy way out of refunding it so they didnt have to wear the cost of the second lot of freight, leaving us out of pocket and having to purchase another blanket elsewhere & pay freight + tax all over again. With the conversation going no where & them showing no inclination to do right by the customer - we lodged a complaint with paypal & manage to get half the shipping cost refunded which was better than nothing.

26 August 25 Ethan at Hi-Power goes to install the Lid spacer only to find its not even close to fitting - the water m**h nozzles foul with the fuel rail mounts, meaning the lid spacer cant sit flush on the blower - and even if it did, there was no way of fitting hardware to secure the fuel rail in current configuration. Keeping in mind - this is a OEM LSA blower, & the kit is specifically listed as a bolt on upgrade for the LSA blower. We once again email FI Interchiller & ask what are we supposed to do with this now $1350 plus freight paperweight that not fit for purpose, and here is where things get even better. Steve from FI Interchiller responds - "Please note this information is listed on the product page itself, you may have missed it. See attached, you use a counter sunk screw." We pop over to the website on our phone and magically there is now some instructions and pictures stating you need to supply your own countersunk screw. We reply to Steve expressing our disappointment that they have tried to pull the wool over our eyes & added a blurb about supplying your own countersunk hardware & associated pictures to the website AFTER we had emailed with the complaint - to which he replied that the website has not been changed. Luckily enough - we had the website page on our laptop still open from the day prior & because we had not refreshed it - it showed the original page with no blurb about a countersunk screw or any pictures showing so - Once again caught in a lie.

To be clear - this is not about trying to work out how to make this work - machining the rail down and fitting a countersunk screw will infact work - this is a post pointing out the terrible customer service from an absolute joke of a company - every step of the way they have been in the wrong, not ever attempted to do right by the customer & beyond that, flat out lied & tried to be deceptive about the entire transaction from start to finish.

Unfortunately with them having reviews turned off on all platforms we cant post this on google etc for all to see - So feel free to share this post so others can learn from it and dont have to deal with their flat out unprofessional customer service.

For the doubters – more testing today with fresh data. Back-to-back on the same dyno, same day, same conditions: 6Boost vs Artec bolt-on option for the 1JZ-GTE.

Switching from the Artec to the 6Boost, with absolutely no other changes (tune untouched), resulted in:
• Power increase across the board – peak lifted from 217 kW to 240 kW
•6 psi lower back-pressure measured at the exhaust port
•4 psi lower back-pressure measured at the collector
•A 50% improvement in pressure differential across the manifold

Important to note - the 6boost tested is a 1” runner option - which actually has a smaller ID runner than the Artec.

No more blaming (insert idiotic needs better fuel excuse here). A properly designed and tested tubular manifold just blew the artec cast manifold into the weeds, even at low power levels, and did so with a smaller ID runner.

We’ve been getting asked almost daily to share more detail on the disappointing results we’ve seen with Artec manifolds especially after snippets have popped up on our and others’ stories. So here it is: 3 back to back dyno tests, 3 different setups, and in every case, switching to a proper tubular manifold with a true merge collector delivered gains.

No hype, no influencer spin - just real world results on an actual engine not a CFD model, from someone with no horse in the race.

Cut the restriction. Let the engine breathe. Get the heat out of the chamber. Stop leaving power on the table.
