🚗TRANSMISSION & DIFFERENTIALS🚗

There are many different types of transmission and differential (Diff). Common types in the Audi, VW, Skoda & Seat range are:

- Automatic transmission – serviced typically every 90,000km

-DSG or DCT transmissions are divided in two main groups. The 6 or 7 speed wet clutch type are serviced every 60,000km. The 7 speed dry clutch type transmissions have no service interval.

-CVT transmissions are typically serviced every 60,000km.

-Most 4WD diffs have periodic oil changes. A common diff type in the VAG group vehicles is called Haldex. There are 5 generations of Haldex diff . The first four generations require a filter change as well as fluid to be changed. All transmission and diff filter kits and fluids for VAG vehicles are carried in stock at Vodis.

With our lovely Ana leaving us in August to welcome her second child, we are on the hunt for someone to join us as a receptionist/admin support role- providing a positive & friendly experience for our customers, and strong organisational skills to help support our busy team!

- Hours are Monday-Friday, 7.45am-5pm
- A full NZ driver’s licence required
- Previous experience in a similar role, or basic knowledge of the SAM System preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

🚗SERVICING🚗
Here at Vodis we recommend servicing European vehicles at intervals of 15,000km or annually (whichever comes first).

Regular servicing not only ensures optimal performance and safety of your vehicle, but it can also extend the life of your vehicle, by allowing early detection and prevention of potential issues!

Of course we also service non-European vehicles, and recommend 10,000km servicing intervals on these vehicles.

When doing a service on any brand, we use a checklist specific to that brand, and double check for correct oil to use. You can be sure that your vehicle is given the greatest care, regardless of brand!
