Both of us have been riding for a number of years and would like to meet up and ride with other gay guys who enjoy motorcycles.

It's been ages since we've been out riding as a group. Next Sunday, 23 March, the weather looks favourable enough to meet the needs of all levels of riders. Please let us know if you're keen, and what time suits best.

It’s been a lovely weekend in Christchurch so I took advantage and went for a 200km ride this afternoon. Cold but clear. It’s been good to get out again as I’ve ridden often enough since I’ve been living down here as I don’t have a group to ride with.

In these strange times, just a couple of reminders about what Alert Level-2 restrictions mean for our rides.

If you are unwell prior to the ride we would ask you not to attend. Please let us know that you will not be attending. If you become unwell during the ride you may be asked not to
complete the ride.

Whilst on the ride please ensure that you maintain a minimum of the 1-metre distance between yourself and other members and maintain personal hygiene protocols. This applies to the pre-ride briefing, any stops during the ride and any post-ride activity.

We will create a ride contact tracing sheet just to add your name, cellphone or email address to, just to be on the safe side and to do the right things, even though we are a small number. Please note that if we stop for coffee or lunch, we will also have to comply with any contact tracing requirements that these venues place on us.

For those of us who've not ridden for a while, please remember to check oil levels and tyre pressures before we set out.

So far, Mark is the only confirmed rider for the "Start of Summer" ride on Sunday. Is anyone else free or shall we cancel and redo the ride in the New Year?
