As part of our continued commitment to environmental responsibility, Orakei Marina has joined the Pest Free Partner programme in collaboration with the Auckland Council Biosecurity team. This initiative strengthens our existing biosecurity efforts by offering added support and education to boat owners, helping prevent the spread of invasive species from the mainland to the Hauraki Gulf islands. Through careful vessel inspections, clean practices, and increased awareness, we aim to protect ecologically significant islands, ensuring they remain safe havens for native species and fragile ecosystems.
