The pack-down job is complete! 🤩👌👊

Our Salty Marshall Boats are officially put to bed for a few months, ready to be back on the water for Naples 2027 and the 38th America’s Cup.

When planning for the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona, event organisers were looking for a RIB that could be customised specifically for the demanding marshalling role. Just as important was finding a boat that would keep the Marshalls comfortable through long, consecutive days on the water, in all conditions.

Fast forward to the 38th America’s Cup, and these same boats continue to prove the value of quality construction — delivering exceptional reliability, minimal maintenance, outstanding fuel economy and a proven platform for high-performance sailing support.

Day three of racing at the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta.

Two fleet races in the afternoon, followed by a winner-takes-all Match Race Final between the top two teams.

Then the real work begins… the enormous pack-up. Boats, race marks and markset bots all need to be transported back to the haul-out zone, washed down, dismantled, reorganised and packed back into containers ready for the next event.

It’s a big job — and it takes a village to get it all done. 💪

Feeling proud that our Salthouse Coach Boats have once again, performed like clockwork throughout the regatta. ⚓️👌🤩

The countdown to Naples is on.

September 24th marks the start of the second Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta's — and there’s a mountain of work to do before the boats can hit the water. 💪

15 Marshall Boats need to make the journey from hot, stuffy storage containers in Bagnoli, to the sparkling waters off the Bay of Naples where they will perform marshall and race mark control duties for the regatta.

Add 32–35°C heat, dirt roads, busy streets, boats and equipment to move, and a whole lot of logistics… and you’ve got a job on ... 🥵
