Guys get amongst it. Hooncorp is spreading there wings and they need the help of our car comunity

Normally I wouldn’t do this but I genuinely believe in these guys and what they do. They are good buggers who have always been a part of the Motorsport community. We know them fairly well and can vouch for all the effort and heart they put in to it.

🚨⚠️ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠️🚨
This is a post that has been a very long time in the making.

Hooncorp has enjoyed significant growth and expansion over recent years, and we're currently at the crossroads where the part time approach is at its peak of performance. 💪

We now have the opportunity to go the next step and make Hooncorp our FULL TIME focus, but we NEED some financial help to make that happen!

When we talk about making it a full time gig, we're not saying we'll just put on a few more Autokhanas through the year. 👇👇

- We have significant plans already being drafted up about a full calendar of events, as well as pushing the road safety message that remains the core of Hooncorp's identity. 🚗💨

- We will be working with schools and Universities, as we outreach safer driving habits to students, Hoons and some ex-hoons. Some will even get the chance to become real racers! 🏁

- With better equipment, we can also create more TV-quality videos, traveling around and putting a spotlight on various other groups, classes and good buggers in the New Zealand motorsports world who otherwise would go largely un noticed.

- And following all this, the sim racing scene has been picking up significant momentum in recent years. With Hooncorp Esports' platform and following, we can put on a very wide variety of special events for the top sim racing talent in Oceania!

SO... HOW CAN YOU HELP? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

We are looking for small, not so small, and large donations from today. We will be seeking larger funding from philanthropists and charitable foundations in the coming weeks.

This is daunting, exciting, and downright scary. We have 3 months to get set up, fully funded, and put our plans in action to hit the ground running in 2027. 😎🤝😎

Mobil job to brake down
LPG powered ford falcon ute
Customer rang up saying it’s just stopped on the side of the road.

After a diagnostic we were able to track down a blown main fuse replace it with new one we had brought with us getting the customer back up on the road. Happy days all round

Been a busy last few weeks
Running around mobile jobs
Towing cars
Mocking up big brake set up getting parts and sorting lines,rolling guards.
Couple general services and brake replacement as well as a wheel bearing on an aqua
And a ls2 Holden ute to check over tune and health check

Forged internals ✅
Link ecu installed set up and tuned✅
Boost controller changed to link set up✅
Link lamba , IAT Sensors installed✅
Swapped the old turbo out for a Garrett gt2860rs and made new down pipe to suit.✅
Catch can & fittings welded to rocker cover ✅
Built 6 speed gearbox✅
Clutch to handle 300hp plus✅
All new fluids through out✅

Big updates! WE HAVE MOVED 🥳

We have moved from our Browns Bay location AND our storage yard! Definitely don’t do things in halves around here 😁

While we’re still setting up in our new location, we’re currently closed to new customers but OPEN for exisiting customers on a job by job basis 🧰🔧 flick us a message if you need us!

We’ve got 2 big builds in the process that we’ve brought with us, and we can’t wait to get these finished. Work is still happening behind the scenes here at AFP.

So apparently we now have a client who is buying a x fighter jet.

We had this Nissan in for a wof failure due to rust on front bottom rad support. As well as a misfire.

We diagnosed the misfire down to a coil on cylinder 4. We decided to do a set of plugs at the same time to save customer in future because inlet manifold has to come off🤦‍♂️ and they were due to be replaced when we inspected.

Took of rad support.support radiator temporarily
Ground down the surface rust to bear metal in all spots rust treated and painted.
