We’ve been loving the action on the water and seeing all the Southern Spars-equipped fleet in their element. If you’re near the yacht club, look for our flag and stop by for a coffee.

We’ll be here tomorrow as well. See you there!

A strong opening day at the Range Rover Sardinia Cup. 💪

Class victories for Ino Veritas and Rán move to the top of the provisional team standings after yesterday's Race 1.

With some of the world's finest racing yachts competing in Porto Cervo, it's great to see Southern Spars equipped campaigns starting their Sardinia Cup challenge on the front foot.

There is still plenty of racing to come, but the opening signs are promising as the fleet settles into one of the Mediterranean's most prestigious regattas.

That’s a wrap on the IMA Maxi European Championship 2026!

As one of the most prestigious fixtures on the International Maxi calendar, the event saw the fleet return, ready to tackle the technical demands of the Naples and Sorrento circuit. From offshore endurance to inshore sprints, the highly variable conditions tested every fleet.

Following a hard-fought week of racing, Jolt claimed the Maxi Grand Prix title, with V, Leopard 3, and Galateia rounding out the Maxi 1 podium.

A huge congratulations to all the owners, crews and teams who competed this week. It was incredible showcase of precision, teamwork and high-performance racing.

Truly one for the books!

Congratulations to Galateia for taking the win at the 71st Regata dei Tre Golfi! 🏆

The 150-mile offshore race was a true test of endurance, with Galateia crossing the line after 17 hours of intense sailing following a hard-fought battle with V for the finish line. It was fantastic to see such a high level of competition taking on the course.

We were proud to see the top three podium finishers, Galateia, V and Leopard 3 all equipped with Southern Spars masts and booms.

Congratulations to all teams involved in a great race. 👏

The fleet is building, the docks are full and, if the atmosphere around the marina is anything to go by, the excitement ahead of the IMA Maxi European Championship is already taking hold. ⛵🏆

Some of the world’s most recognisable Maxis are lining up, crews are making final preparations and the buzz around the dock is unmistakable.

With a strong Southern Spars presence across the fleet, we are looking forward to seeing the action unfold as another unforgettable week of racing begins.

Soon enough, the dockside anticipation will give way to the real business on the water. 💪

Good luck to all competitors taking to the start line. 👏

The Mediterranean maxi season is about to step up another level. 🇮🇹

Next week sees the return of the International Maxi Association European Championship as part of Tre Golfi Sailing Week, combining offshore endurance with intense inshore racing around the spectacular Gulf of Naples and Sorrento.

We are excited to see a strong fleet equipped with Southern Spars masts preparing to line up, including familiar names such as Magic Carpet e, Bella Mente, Django 7X, Leopard 3, Galateia,
Jolt and more as the competition heats up.

With returning champions, new optimisations and one of the strongest maxi fleets of the season, there is plenty to look forward to on the racecourse.

Best of luck to all teams competing in Sorrento. We will be watching closely. 👏

At the sharp end of competition, confidence matters. 🤨

Congratulations to the teams competing at the ORC - Offshore Racing Congress, where the top three overall podium positions had Southern Spars masts with Future Fibres rigging, paired with North Sails and Doyle Sails. A reminder of just how much of the performance package at the front of the fleet is powered by a wider group of trusted sailing brands.

From spars and rigging to sails, it is always rewarding to see technology and teamwork performing where it matters most....on the racecourse.

Congratulations to all teams involved and best of luck for the racing ahead. 👏
