2016 Mercedes AMG GT 4.0L Twin Turbo V8!

This car has an aluminium space frame chassis and is powered by a 4L twin turbo V8 putting out 456hp to 733hp depending on the version (GT track series). The GTS / GTR models have been used as the Formula One safety car since 2015.

Check out this Mercedes Benz E550 twin-turbo engine rebuild.

This is a major job with the vehicle requiring the turbo wastegates to be rebuilt. Thankfully the customer is covered under the mechanical warranty policy. The new turbo’s had an estimated cost is over $6K each. Our team found a repair solution for considerably less.

Did you know that with one of our stage 1 performance tunes, we can take this engine from 402hp to 510hp? That is torque from 600 NM, to a massive 820 NM, which is a 36% increase.

Check out some photos of this rare Mercedes that was in the other day for some maintenance. It is a 2008 CLK63 Black Series. This model was used as the pace car for F1. It is a factory built, street-legal, track car.

507HP not bad from its 6.3-litre, naturally aspirated, mainly handbuilt V8. Note the factory diff oil cooling system and the AMG coil over shocks. This car is one of only 7 in NZ, there used to be 8 but some track days just don’t end well!

This particular one has never been on a race track and only has 19k on the clock. It is in immaculate, as new condition.

- Frequent hand washing for all staff.
- Sanitising cars upon drop-off and before pickup. Seat covers will be used to minimise direct contact while working on your car.
- Protective gloves will be worn by our staff at all times.
- Sanitisers are readily available on premises for customer and staff use.
- Contactless payment options available.
- Regular sanitisation of all contact surfaces.
