A few weeks ago you may have seen Bonnie the blue xj jeep and how were prepping it for the 2026 ultra4 race in woodhill forrest. Well that event has just been and somehow Bonnie held up like an absolute champ! Bonnie and her 30” tires means we fall into the 4600 class also known as stock class, this means we had a total of 3 bypasses in our lap due to how extreme the lap was in places. In saying that tho it was still over 3 non stop hours of abuse on the 7km circuit and being able to make it to the end was enough for us. Throughout the look lap we were battling with a bad miss at low rpm. After the second lap we came in to the pits to swap seats and probably call it after the 3rd lap due to the miss. A couple of minutes of my fat foot on the skinny pedal and the miss had cleared and we continued to push to the finish and coming away with 3rd overall @11 laps down, some great laughs over the helmet coms and a couple of bigs hits that Bonnie didn’t complain about. Massive shout out to Joe for making it happen and sharing that drivers seat. Bring on the 2027 Possum enduro 🤙

Bonnie came into 2026 not knowing what was heading her way! It all started as a joke over the phone 7 days before the 2026 possum palace enduro. 3 days later this xj was in the work shop getting a 6pt roll cage, harnesses , full lift kit steering upgrades and more. It was a hectic 4 nights to get her ready but it paid off and done well at possum. Including driving onto the trailer after the weekend was done. Fast forward 7 months and here we are, prepped and ready for 2026 ultra4 race in woodhill forest. Joe and I entered in the OG ULTRA4 back in 2019 also at woodhill forest. So it only seemed fitting that we give it another nudge.

Here we have before and after picture of this Nissan civilian bus that we have completed. This has been a great upgrade for this tidy original camper while keeping oem service parts, even keeping A/C and the factory exhaust brake. This camper won’t be the one holding you up on the hills with this set up. Once upon a time we used to have some fun. One day we’ll be back into slapping gears and sinking beers. ( not at the same time obviously 🙄)
