Get Your Vehicle Road Trip Ready!
Before hitting the open road for this upcoming long weekend, make sure your vehicle is ready for the adventure!
Here's a quick checklist to follow:

*1. Check Your Oil and Fluids*
- Engine Oil: Check the level using the dipstick. Look for any signs of oil leaks or contamination.
- Coolant: Check the level in the reservoir. Make sure it's the correct type and color for your vehicle.
- Brake Fluid: Check the level in the reservoir. Top up if necessary.
- Transmission Fluid: Check the level using the dipstick (if applicable).
- Power Steering Fluid: Check the level using the dipstick (if applicable).

*2. Inspect Your Tyres and Brakes*
- Tyre Pressure: Check the pressure using a gauge at your local gas station. Make sure it's at the recommended level. (The recommended pressure can be found on the tyre information placard on the driver's side doorjamb or in the owner's manual)
- Tyre Tread: Check the tread depth. If it's below 1.5mm, consider replacing your tyres.
- Brake Pads and Rotors: Not sure if your brake pads are worn out? Pop into our workshop and we'll check them for you!

*3. Test Your Lights and Signals*
- Headlights: Test both high and low beams.
- Taillights: Test both brake lights and turn signals.
- Turn Signals: Test both front and rear turn signals.

*4. Pack a Roadside Emergency Kit*
- Spare Tyre: Make sure you have a spare and that it's inflated.
- Jumper Cables: Check the condition of your jumper cables.
- First Aid Kit: Pack a basic first aid kit with essentials like bandages and antiseptic wipes.
- Flashlight: Make sure you have a working flashlight.

*5. Check Your Boat or Trailer*
- Ensure the trailer is properly hitched to the tow vehicle.
- Check the electrical connections for damage or corrosion.
- Test the trailer lights and brakes to ensure they're working correctly.
- Make sure the trailer's tyre pressure is at the recommended level.
