The whole family came down to pick up their new Lexus, but honestly, these two were the real stars of the day.

Most excited pair we've seen in a while β€” holding the keys like it was already theirs.

Might need a family meeting about who's actually allowed to drive it πŸ˜‚

Congrats to the whole crew, enjoy the new car!

This one's a good example of how easy it can be when everything lines up.

Uncle had seen the car earlier, thought it'd be perfect for his wife, and came back with her to check it out properly.

Decided then and there. Paid on the spot.

It was a Sunday too β€” but we got it ready and delivered within a few hours. They went off for lunch, came back before we closed, and drove away in it the same day.

Doesn't get much smoother than that πŸ™Œ

Bit of a throwback for you all.

This gentleman was driving past on the main road, caught a glimpse of this BMW, and turned straight around to come get it. No test drive hesitation, no "let me think about it" β€” just straight up, this one's mine.

Honestly, the way he carried himself next to it, you'd think he'd owned it his whole life.

Love it when a car finds the right person πŸ–€

This one stuck with us.

A big family came down together, kids and all, everyone hopping in and out, trying every seat before deciding.

Turns out they'd only just arrived in New Zealand β€” and this Serena was their first real gift to themselves, starting fresh in a new country.

Doesn't get much better than being part of a moment like that.

Welcome to New Zealand, and welcome to the Motor Direct whānau πŸ’™

Two brothers came in together, and both are adamant this car is "mainly" theirs.

We'll let them fight that one out at home.

Funny thing about this photo β€” looks exactly like we're handing over the keys, but that's actually just the two of them negotiating who drives first.

Good luck to whoever wins that argument. Enjoy the new ride, fellas πŸš—

This family spotted the car online and came down to have a proper look before deciding.

Lovely people β€” asked all the right questions, and we gave it to them straight, no pitch, just the truth.

Told them if anything ever comes up after they drive off, just give us a call. We'll sort it.

Good family, good car, good day. Welcome to the Motor Direct whānau πŸ’™

This one came with a side of cauli crush burgers. πŸ”

So here's the backstory β€” our boss Amit was a chef before all this. Proper background in food. And this customer works at Reburger in Manukau Central. The moment those two found out about each other, the car deal turned into a full-on food conversation.

Best restaurants in Auckland. Worst ones. Health and nutrition. Cooking methods. The kind of conversation you have with someone you've known for years β€” not someone you just met at a car yard.

By the time we were delivering the Prius, we'd already put in an order at Reburger. Cauli crush burgers. Absolutely worth it.

And those two little ones in the photo? They had zero interest in any of this grown-up conversation. They just wanted to get in the car. Couldn't contain themselves πŸ˜‚

This is the kind of deal that reminds us this isn't just a car business. It's a people business. And some people just click.

Thank you for the burgers and the good chat. Enjoy the Prius πŸ™
