Dear Customers

As we move into Alert Level 3 on Wednesday the 1st of September we will be Open! 😀

Our workshop will be operating, but any customer contact must be done contactless.

We will be doing contactless Pickup and Delivery as requested.

If you call in to see us, please remain in your car until you are seen by a staff member.

We have other options available to assess your damaged vehicle, if you are not comfortable or unable to bring your vehicle in.

Unfortunately with New Zealand going in to a Level 4 Lockdown for 3 days at 11.59pm tonight. We will be in touch with anyone with upcoming bookings or vehicles currently in our workshop. In the meantime lets do our bit to keep everybody safe ✌️

About the company.

KB Panel and Paint Services Ltd is located in Ashburton doing mainly insurance collision repairs, we have a small team with a great culture for team work and having some fun in a fast paced environment that is always striving to give our customers the best experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of an Automotive Vehicle Strip and Fit Technician:

Responsible for removing and replacing all mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
Strip and refit interior and exterior components.
Ensure all electrical components are fully functional once re-assembled.
Inspect finished vehicles to ensure no mechanical, electrical or trim defects.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Maintain a high regard for health and safety at all times using safety equipment provided for personnel safety and the safety of others.

Skills Requirements of the Automotive Vehicle Strip and Fit Technician:

Great eye for detail.
The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
The ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Remuneration is negotiable and based on experience and skill set.
Hours/Days of work Monday to Friday 40 + Hours

KB Panel & Paint Services, is a busy collision repair shop based in Ashburton and has recently changed ownership in the last 15 months.
We are looking for an additional person to join our busy Paint Team.
The Main duties of this role will be Paint Prep, Masking, Denibbing and assisting with vehicle final Checking and Grooming.
Experience would be an asset but not required.
For the right person, this role can lead onto an Automotive Spray Painter/Refinish apprenticeship.

We are really excited to be able to share with everyone that we can now complete your vehicle assessments through digital imaging without the need of coming in to the shop on our new 'MyCrash' site. You will receive a text with the instructions and a link to our 'MyCrash' Site. From there you simply click on the upload image link to capture and submit your images. It's that easy! If we have received a claim number from your insurance company we will be getting in touch to get the process started. If you are needing a quote on a vehicle please call us and we can send you the link to upload images!

Dear Customers

As we move to Alert Level 3 on Tuesday the 28th of April, KB Panel and Paint will be opening.

While our workshop will be functioning to meet COVID-19 Level 3 rules we must keep our reception closed to customers.

Any vehicle drop off or pickup’s will need to be done contactless. This will mean contacting us so we can get all your paperwork completed before you drop your vehicle off and book a time slot for you to drop or collect your vehicle.

If your vehicle was booked or had been assessed with us before the lock down, we will be in touch during the coming days to rebook/book your repairs.

For vehicle assessments for recent damage please also contact us via email or phone and we will talk you through the process to get your vehicle assessment completed.

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff we will be sanitising vehicles on check in and check out along with additional internal operating processes to insure we adhere to COVID-19 Level 3 rules.

We ask customers who are feeling unwell, are experiencing any flu- like symptoms or have traveled overseas in the past 14 days to stay at home and contact us via phone or email to reschedule their booking
