A healthy battery could help you save more than just the inconvenience of a breakdown.

If your vehicle has been slow to start or mostly doing short trips, call into Newlands for a battery check. We are the home of Century Batteries NZ in Canterbury.

📍 Ashburton | Rolleston | Timaru

Do flat batteries affect fuel economy? 🔋

Modern vehicles use smart charging, which backs off when the battery is healthy. But when your battery is heavily discharged, the alternator stays engaged & puts extra load on the engine meaning more fuel burned 🚗

If your car’s been doing short trips or the battery’s feeling sluggish, a quick battery check could save you money at the pump 👍
