The future we envision for Evon Electric is ambitious and sometimes a single factory floor can make a startup think much bigger.
This week, Evon Electric team visited Hulas Auto Craft, where Triumph, KTM, and Bajaj motorcycles are assembled in Nepal. It's fascinating to think that almost all of the new KTMs and Bajajs we see on our roads have passed through these very assembly lines.
We're incredibly grateful to Mr. Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of Golchha Group, for making this visit possible. A heartfelt thank you as well to the entire factory floor team and everyone at the Golchha Group for the warm hospitality, for taking the time to walk us through the facility, and for patiently answering what felt like an endless stream of questions from our team.
As a team designing and building electric motorcycles in Nepal, seeing manufacturing happen at this scale was both a technical learning experience and a mindset shift. It reinforced something we've believed for a long time: Nepal is not too small to build great products, great engineering teams, or great manufacturing capabilities.
We leave inspired, humbled, and even more excited for the road ahead.
Here's to building, learning, and proving that world-class engineering can come from Nepal. 🇳🇵⚡
