Introducing MaxxECU GEN2 RACE – the ultimate engine control system for tuners and racing professionals.
When every millisecond counts, GEN2 RACE gives you complete engine insight and precision tuning for maximum performance.



MaxxECU GEN2 RACE technical

Superseal 1.0 connectors.
550 kPa MAP sensor (4.5 bar / 65 PSI boost), user-serviceable, with BSP 1/8 thread.
3-axis accelerometer (up to 8 G).
ARM dual core CPU.
6-22V operating voltage.
16GB internal log capacity, 1000Hz, all 1600+ channels.
USB-C 480mbit/s (MTune PC communication).
USB-C 12mbit/s (tablet charging).*
WIFI communication with MTune and MDash.*
Bluetooth connectivity with MDash.
Dual CAN bus for expansion modules, OEM vehicle CAN, OBDII, CAN gearbox control.
Resolution on ignition: 0.1 degrees.

MTune 1.158 now available as a free update for all MaxxECUs
Support for the MaxxECU GEN2 RACE unit.
Added Dual Bank Ignition Tables and Knock Trim, see Ignition settings.
Added Dual Bank Lambda Target Tables.
Added a Lambda filter, see Filters/error codes.
Added faster live-log saving using the new log format, improving save speed by up to 10x in Live-logger.
Nissan VK56VD crank/CAM pattern added, also support for VVTi control.
Added three slower AIN filters with renamed smoothing options, auto-configured CLT/IAT failsafe with hidden irrelevant settings, removed unnecessary 5V tracking, and improved TPS calibration and AIN pages for clearer logic.
Added bitoffset and 4 bit value types to PDM CAN Inputs.
Added blinking firmware update indicator in the tree view when the ECU/PDM firmware is outdated. The update dialog now only appears once per session per unique serial number to avoid repeated prompts.
Improved internal calculation speed.
Fixed: Log package format updated to avoid Gmail false security issue blocking.
Fixed a bug related to saving and opening of encrypted tunefiles.
Fixed a bug that could cause up to 0.5% errors in RPM readings.
Fixed a bug causing the injection angle in "end of injection" mode to be incorrect when there was a large difference in pulse widths between cylinders.

- Fixed a bug where the Sequential gearbox blip delay setting interfered with the DSG blip delay function for VAG DSG.
- Fixed a bug where the shortcut for interpolation did not work in lists.
- Fixed a bug when a single wheel speed setup did use both wheel speed sensors when available, showing dual wheel speed.
- Fixed a bug where the lambda deviation Warning output was accidentally triggered above 9kPa instead of 90kPa.
- Fixed PWM frequency accuracy issues on low-frequency output when high frequencies were used on other outputs. Improved duty accuracy for high-frequency outputs.
- Fixed a problem with the Toyota A650E auto gearbox output pattern.
- Fixed an issue where the User frequency/duty did not work below 5Hz, minimum is now 1Hz.
- Fixed an issue with the lean power cut function.
- Fixed an issue with default CAN messages and PDM on the same bus, double rate of messages.
- Fixed VSS GEAR which did not update from GEN2 DCT GEAR.
- Fixed wrong conversion from GEN 1 DCT GEAR to VSS GEAR.

På søndag var vi på Grenland å fikk tuna inn chassi , clutch å motor til MM Motorsport sin Raske Ford Puma. Nye aero pakka fungerte også veldig bra. Endelig blir det turbo lyd , flammer å masse lyd i rallycross kl 3. I morgen drar vi til Trondheim da første nm runde skal te**es med alt nytt. Liten smake bit fra test starter.

Da har vi endelig fått sendt ut mange Bmw Dct elnett til de nye F serie  gen 2 girkassene. Det som er veldig smidig her ...

Da har vi endelig fått sendt ut mange Bmw Dct elnett til de nye F serie gen 2 girkassene. Det som er veldig smidig her er at de nye netta har ferdig obd plugg med medfølgende xhp obd flash tool som gjør at ikke TCU må sendes hit for programmering. Vi har levert justert Dct produkter som har gått i norsk racing tidligere og det fungerer utrolig bra vis alt er justert korrekt. Dette er en bra og rimeligere løsning en konvensjonell.sekvensiell girkasse som trenger hyppig service. Med økt intern oljetrykk har vi bremsa 900nm uten slur på org lamell pakker.

Christmas friendly colour of exhaust when doing full als adjustment of this mint Audi S1 with our innhouse build 2.2 high rev flex fuel drysump engine with about 840Hp and plated diff set up to tarmac. Offcource loaded with race , pdm keypad.

Vi har blitt spurt om vi kan poste litt av hva vi gjør og driver med her. Beklager dårlig oppdatering av hva som skjer her men idag for 1 time siden ble det laget en kort film rett på sparket uten noe manus. En lang drøm gikk også i oppfyllelse idag da et spesielt prosjekt ble ferdig bremsa.
Et riktig godt nytt år ønskes alle våre venner, sponsorer, kunder, forhandlere og samarbeidspartnere.

Nå som racing sesongen var ferdig var det rett ut av henger og rett i dyno med Audien  for og planlegge neste års racing...

Nå som racing sesongen var ferdig var det rett ut av henger og rett i dyno med Audien for og planlegge neste års racing satsing fra Gt3 til Gt1 som er opp nesten dobbel effekt fra vi har kjørt før.

Med hardkamma turbo motor som kan dra 10 000rpm setter det store krav til korrekt turbo med unaturlig stor turbin del. Etter testing av ulike billet turboer fant vi en perfekt turbo vi skal bruke neste år . Bilen må breddes 16cm med tilhørende store dekk og bremser oppgrades. Håper ikke vinteren går alt for fort. 😀

Yes. We are now Norwegian champions in the Gt3 class with our Audi race car with as driver that won the title. It have being a tough season with 18 races, but he manage to pass a porsche 997 cup car in the last corner before finnish in last race Rudskogen Racetrack this weekend and secure the missing points.

We have sett track records on all tracks in Norway in the Gt3 class. 1.26.1 Rudskogen. 55.6 Våler. 1.13.0 Sokndal.

Maxxecu / Maxxtuning AB V1 ecu was the first ecu type that started it all. We have used this ecu in our race car since 2013 without a single issue and change to Maxxecu / Maxxtuning AB race ecu these days. Reason for change is removing old wire butterfly with new modern fly by wire throttle .
A big bonus is also that sechvensial gearbox will be totaly clutch less during racing. It is 18 races this year, 12 races done and 6 races left in the gt3 class. So far P3 in our class and setting gt3 laptime records on all tracks in Norway with this old ecu 😀
Our goal is to win the gt3 championship but it is only 2 weeks to next race, but now our car have big damage in chassi because another car hit us 3 times in last corner before finish last race🤨🤨🤨🤨🤐🤐
