Paintless dent repair (PDR), also known as "Paintless Dent Removal", is a collection of techniques for removing minor dents and dings from the body of a motor vehicle. A wide range of damage can be repaired using PDR; however, usually if there is paint damage, PDR may be unsuitable. The most common practical use for PDR is the repair of hail damage, door dings, minor creases. The techniques can al

so be applied to help prepare the damaged panel for refinishing in a body shop using conventional paint and body methods. Such applications are referred to as "push to paint" or "push for paint". As with any "art form" not just anyone will become a master technician and major PDR companies spend a lot of time and money weeding out UN-trainable prospective technicians. Becoming a Master technician takes natural ability and years of continuing experience and training. Common practice assumes no less than 5 years of steady PDR work to be considered a Master Technician, though many technicians may never reach this level. Over the past two decades i have worked closely for many different motor manufactures including, Jaguar, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Audi, Volkswagen, Lexus, Toyota and many more..
