Unfortunately the original windshield had developed cracks after sitting for some time, so we bought some high quality lexane (PC) and a new one is being cut and installed.

Today’s progress was installing the he AT-1 FLARM/ADS-B anti collision system and the Trig TY-91 COM. While doing some miscellaneous electrical wiring, I powered the cabin heat fan and was rather disappointed by its flow. I had a much stronger 70W SPAL fan which flows 520m3/hr, but how to fit it? Well that’s the beauty of modern RE with 3D scanners and CAD software. I drew up a shroud that would be a direct replacement and not require any modifications. Currently 3D printing in PA6-GF which will be plenty strong and can withstand 210c before getting soft.

Finally some progress! The EP918Ti is officially installed and the FWF is complete. The E-props Glorieuse 210cm constant speed propeller really makes it scream STOL 💪🏻 Some cowling prep and paint and wiring of the avionics and it should be ready 😎
