This boat came with a long stem late model 20HP Selva (made by Yamaha) mounted on a dodgy looking bracket. It was too good to sell so I made a better bracket out of aluminium angle and marine ply and all stainless bolts (with fiber insulation washers).

Repairing many stress cracks in the small radiuses around the gunwales. I suspect all the bumping into docks over the years has found weaknesses in the layup...

I found that using a fiberglass cloth handled the tight radius easier than chopped strand glass...

Replacing what must be the smallest plywood transom in the world...

I cut out the inside of the transom and used marine ply to replace the 'compost' that was there. I reused the piece of fiberglass I cut out. Epoxy was used throughout and several layers of fiberglass to tab all the cut edges back into the boat.

No surprises it was rotten really, I've never seen so many fixing holes in a small boat...
