Friday was my first time ever driving this track. By the end of the day, I was already within a few tenths of the leaders.
Saturday was qualifying. Rain was expected, but the track was dry on the grid, so everyone went out on slicks — we did the same. I worked my way up to P5, but then the rain came. I lost my group as drivers went off track. When it dried up again, I no longer had a good tow and others improved. After pushing and overtaking, I finished P14 with a click bumper penalty.
Sunday = race day.
Heat 1: Started P17 → finished P11.
Heat 2: Red flagged on lap 1 due to a big crash.
Final: Moved from P11 to P7, but got taken out after someone braked early in front of me. The driver behind got hit and pushed me onto the grass. Rejoined in P23 and fought back to P16.
Not the result we wanted, but solid progress 💪
