ROUND 3 AT LANDSARD 🏁

Qualifying didn’t go to plan after a penalty in warm-up on Sunday left me starting P16. 😞

Heat 1: fought back from P16 to P8, but issues with the click bumper dropped me back to P11.

Heat 2: another strong comeback from P16 to P5, but the same problem held me back again and I finished P8.

Final: started P7, got pushed into the kart ahead and forced wide in the chaos, dropping me to last. Managed to fight all the way back to P12.

The results don’t show the full story, but the pace was there for a top 5 all weekend. Definitely my best junior weekend so far and a lot of positives to take away. 💪🔥

Friday was my first time ever driving this track. By the end of the day, I was already within a few tenths of the leaders.

Saturday was qualifying. Rain was expected, but the track was dry on the grid, so everyone went out on slicks — we did the same. I worked my way up to P5, but then the rain came. I lost my group as drivers went off track. When it dried up again, I no longer had a good tow and others improved. After pushing and overtaking, I finished P14 with a click bumper penalty.

Sunday = race day.

Heat 1: Started P17 → finished P11.

Heat 2: Red flagged on lap 1 due to a big crash.

Final: Moved from P11 to P7, but got taken out after someone braked early in front of me. The driver behind got hit and pushed me onto the grass. Rejoined in P23 and fought back to P16.

Not the result we wanted, but solid progress 💪

Round 1 of UKS 🚀

Qualification: P25. If I had been 0.3 seconds faster, it would have been P7.

Heat 1: DNS. There was a crash before the race even started.

Heat 2: P23. Lost it all in the last corner.

Final: P12. P27 → P12. I had great pace, set the second fastest lap of the race, and overtook 15 drivers.

Overall: I learned a lot this weekend, gained more experience in Junior, and had an awesome final. 🚀

Afgelopen zaterdag was de huldiging der Nederlands Kampioenen van . Ik werd ook gehuldigd voor een 3e plek in het Rookie kampioenschap 💪. Op naar het nieuwe seizoen. 🔥

Seizoen 2025 zit er al weer op… weer veel geleerd en veel meters gemaakt in de Rotax mini klasse. En het seizoen geiindigd met een 3e plek in het Rookie kampioenschap en 6e overall. We zijn achter de schermen druk bezig met het volgende seizoen .. STAY TUNED.
