In the past few months, I didn't feel like sitting behind my laptop for 30+ hours editing videos, but last week I suddenly felt like it again. No sooner said than done. In the video I published today, I share something of what 10 days of 'storm in Dover' have done to me. I was traveling to a specific place, but mentally, it turned out I wasn't ready for it at all yet. But since my YouTube channel is about 'the adventures of Lady Liselot,' this video is once again about the adventure between Dover and the next destination. A destination I also visited single-handedly 26 years ago.
Maybe you feel like and have the time to watch that video.

“Expecting quite some wind this weekend”, the weather app showed me a couple of days ago. It was right.

On the move

If you have seen my video on YouTube called "I turned 60 and realized I was chasing the wrong things.", then you (perhaps) know that I learned myself to take things slow. That's not easy, but I am getting there. So when I left Honfleur for Paris in October last year I did the 360km journey on the Seine (still) as quick as possible in 6 days.
Now, a couple of months later, I left Paris (km18) at the 1st of April, and arrived in Rouen (km245) on the 20st. I used those 20 days to find as many spots as possible to enjoy the scenery of the Seine. And the moment I liked it? I stayed another day. And another.
The last couple of days I stayed in Rouen to get some things fixed, 1500 liter of diesel and enjoy the Rouen Foodmarket almost every night.

This week I am heading to Honfleur to start a journey to the Channel Islands.
