3 things I wish I knew before I started overlanding 🧭

Stef's been there, so learn from it:
1️⃣ Consider the weight. You can't bring your whole house on wheels. Pack what you actually need.
2️⃣ Think about the purpose of the trip and match your gear to it. A greenlane run in Scotland? Just grab your MaxTrax and keep it simple.
3️⃣ Bring basic tools. From duct tape to tie wraps, you never know when they'll save your day.

Three things that never leave my 4x4! 🛻

Every time I head out on a trip, these three come with me... not because I sell them, but because I actually rely on them!

1. A Quick Pitch awning. Up in about 20 seconds and shade or shelter whatever the weather does. On a hot day the reflective canvas keeps it properly cool underneath.
2. MaxTrax recovery boards. So I can get myself out of just about anything, whether it's sand, mud, or a spot I simply can't power through.
3. My National Luna fridge. Because after a long day on the trail, nothing beats an ice-cold drink (or a cold beer at camp).
