The interior of the Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage is an exercise in restraint.

Inspired by the 1972 Chinetti Shooting Brake, the instrument binnacle is positioned centrally within the dashboard, while hand-finished carbon fibre replaces the walnut of its predecessor. Cognac leather flows uninterrupted across the seats, dashboard, door panels, headlining and luggage compartment, creating one continuous architectural composition.

Nothing exists in isolation.

Every line of the Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage was developed in relation to another. Proportion, surfacing, light, material are all part of the design and work together as one continuous composition, rather than a collection of individual details.

On our way back to Europe after an unforgettable week in the UK.

The journey started at Barntech Studios, where we welcomed journalists, creators and automotive enthusiasts for an exclusive first look at the Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage.

This was a week filled with conversations and shared passion for car design. After the studio followed the Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage presence on Royal Automobile Club and a day later around the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to discover the story behind this unique V12 grand tourer.

The story continues.

A closer look at the Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage by Niels van Roij Design: revealing more of the craftsmanship, proportions and details behind this unique one-off V12 grand tourer.

Following its world premiere at the the car will be present around the Goodwood Festival of Speed Thursday and Friday, alongside two other cars, one of which is the other Hommage car from our portfolio: the Breadvan Hommage. Also the Bentley future coachbuilt project is present!

Three different (possible) interpretations of automotive heritage, united by a passion for bespoke design, craftsmanship and the art of coachbuilding.
